Digital PPE Service
The workM8 digital PPE Service allows employers to streamline and automate the process of ensuring staff have the correct equipment, knowledge and training. The Service can also ensure that equipment is returned at the end of a shift and confirm that the equipment is fully functional for the next user.
There are two main solutions offered by workM8 the standalone mobile application and the RFID solution which we deliver in conjunction with our RFID technology partners.
Mobile Application / PPE Checklists
The workM8 mobile application can replace paperwork simply by moving PPE checklists into a simple mobile application. The checklists can request signature and capture GPS location when PPE statements are submitted.
This is a simple concept delivered quickly and seamlessly through the workM8 application. Ther are options to extend the functionality to include the ability to test staff or trigger different PPE checklists or training events based on worker location.
The Digital PPE service can be deployed with the Camera Service and Geo Service to extend automation and functionality.
Mobile Application and RFID
The functionality of the mobile application can be extended further and the whole process of checking in and out equipment almost completely automated using RFID technology. Workers can collect the tagged equipment and pass through Readers on their way to a site/area, workM8 will confirm that the correct equipment is being carried and alert should any descrepancy be detected.
